Man, I'd love to see this

Sevesteen said...: I saw him in the 80's at a fairly small city arena when 'Shock the Monkey' was current, when he was still a fairly minor star. I wasn't a particular fan before the concert, but a friend was a huge Genesis fan. That was when concert tickets were reasonably priced, so I went. Amazing concert. No elaborate set, just some scaffolding on the stage. Band came through the audience doors, drummer with a marching band type drum, through the crowd and on to the stage. I only knew about 3 of his songs at the time, but the concert was amazing--Much better live than in the studio

Oddly, the same friend convinced me to see Ozzy at around the same time. Much more elaborate set, much worse show.; June 9, 2011 at 11:25 PM
Mo Rage said...: He has such a range of music and so much of it is so good, as I said, I'd love to see the concert. I recently saw a concert of his on TV and he did "Salisbury Hill" riding a bicycle onstage, in a circle. It was a real hoot. Maybe you saw it.

This isn't even a good venue but it just wouldn't matter.
