Another view--below--of the flash mob at Crown Center Sunday
Very, very cool.
Not really a true "flash mob", but what they hey. I hope it becomes an annual tradition in town.

What's your definition of "flash mob"? Wikipedia defines "flash mob" as a group of people gathered through social media (i.e. facebook or emails) that comes together at a prearranged time in a public place, does something bizarre or unexpected, and then disperses. That's exactly what we did. (I was one of the altos!) It was awesome!
My definition of "flash mob" includes the part that is supposed to be the "flash" part which, I think, suggests strongly that it either is or looks spontaneous. This event wasn't.
Don't get me wrong, not only do I think it was great, as I think I made clear here, I wish I had been there to enjoy the performance. I thought it was "awesome", much as I detest that horribly overused cliche'. I think it was great. A friend was there, he told me, and I was disappointed I hadn't heard of it ahead of time. I'd have loved to have been there.
