Check this story out. It has to do with the two rich people who went outside their mansion a week or two ago in St. Louis and pulled guns on otherwise peaceful Black Lives Matter protesters.

Kim Gardner is the Circuit Attorney, or chief prosecutor, for the city of St. Louis. She was elected by the people of St. Louis in 2016 and assumed her duties in January 2017. She is the first African American to hold that position.

Trump and Parsons want to remove her from office because they don’t want her to prosecute the McCloskeys. Parsons wants to change Missouri law to give the power to remove her to the state government, somehow. Of course Trump has no authority to mess with elected officials of a state, never mind a city,. But it strikes me that for a state government to remove the elected official of a city flies in the face of the principles of republican (small R) government.

Then there's the fact that the Republicans are trying to dismantle the USPS, the Postal Service and have been for some time.

Now, the Trump administration wants statistics and health care data on and about and during this very killing, national and international pandemic to no longer go to the CDC.

It's unbelievable where we are, America. Nixon was bad. The 60s were bad. We've gone WAY beyond that. We've gone far beyond all of that. This is all new, very dangerous, very reckless, unprecedented territory.  And there is likely a man who is mad, yes, a madman, driving this national bus.

I saw this quote today from economist Paul Krugman and it seems very clear he's correct.

Trump says keeping US Covid-19 deaths to 100,000 would be a ‘very good job’

He actually said if only 100,000 Americans die from and because of this coronavirus pandemic, he will have done "a very good job."

This after first dismissing it entirely, of course, as a "Democratic (party) hoax" then saying it was under control, etc., etc.

Insane.

Next up, also breaking earlier today, is this from a spokesperson in his administration:

Dr. Birx predicts up to 200,000 U.S. coronavirus deaths 'if we do things almost perfectly'

From the article:

The White House coronavirus response coordinator said Monday that she is "very worried about every city in the United States" and projects 100,000 to 200,000 American deaths as a best case scenario.

In an interview on "TODAY," Dr. Deborah Birx painted a grim message about the expected fatalities, echoing that they could hit more than 2 million without any measures, as coronavirus cases continue to climb throughout the country.

"I think everyone understands now that you can go from five to 50 to 500 to 5,000 cases very quickly," Birx said.

"I think in some of the metro areas we were late in getting people to follow the 15-day guidelines," she added.

Birx said the projections by Dr. Anthony Fauci that U.S. deaths could range from 1.6 million to 2.2 million is a worst case scenario if the country did "nothing" to contain the outbreak, but said even "if we do things almost perfectly," she still predicts up to 200,000 U.S. deaths.

Mixed signals, anyone?

Then he did this, over the weekend.

How much more bizarre and erratic and completely unpredictable and unreliable can this President and all his people, his administration, get? Meanwhile, we need a leader in the White House, not insanity and irresponsibility and someone needy for attention and who wants to blame others and literally call others names like a 3 year old.

This trip President Trump has made to Europe--England, Scotland and now, on to Helsinki--has been yet one more collection of fiascos, no surprise, for the nation, what with the his insulting the Queen of England and so, the UK people, to start.

This goes against all national and international protocol and security, both. No President has ever had such a meeting, nor should they, without advisors and witnesses, overseeing said meeting.

Ladies and gentlemen, honestly, this President is one of three things. He is either 

1. really, densely stupid, 
2. insane or 
3. treasonous to our nation and doing all this for Russia 

It's one of those three. It's got to be. There are no other explanations. What else is there? What else could it all be?
