Yes, this was the scene along 47th Street--or is it Emanuel Cleaver Boulevard here?--this past Saturday afternoon. Apparently someone thought they should smash the plate glass window, see what they could get and go. It's a shame. This will be one more rather iconic building with plate glass windows that will likely now be boarded over, much as the old Katz Drugstore's windows had to be boarded up so many years ago. So it goes, I guess.
