The Royals this year?

In Sunday's New York Times, they ran their annual article on the coming Major League Baseball season:

Baseball's Recurring Narrative: Every Year They Write the Book

In it, they gave a brief--very brief--blurb on each team. For the Royals, they said:  

"The official team slogan, "Come to Play", is surprisingly generic for a team that has positioned itself to contend. With veteran starters to go with a talented young lineup, a spot in the penant race seems plausible."

Here's hoping.
