America's income inequality
From Senator Bernie Sanders, Independent, Vermont:
We have the most unequal distribution of wealth and income of any major country on earth, worse today in the United States than at any time since 1928 before the Great Depression
Meanwhile, economist, author and professor Robert Reich agrees and adds more information to the subject:
No one, least of all me, is making a case, here or otherwise, to hand out money, for instance, to the poor. We're just advocating for some fairness to our system and for some assistance, perhaps in the form of jobs projects from the government, ala' the CCC in the 30's, that we're not getting now.
We merely need a system that works, one that works for all, not just the wealthy and uber-wealthy.
