Republicans aren’t trying to rescue George W. Bush’s reputation for sentimental reasons; they’re trying to clear the way for a return to Bush policies. And this carries a message for anyone hoping that the next time Republicans are in power, they’ll behave differently. If you believe that they’ve learned something — say, about fiscal prudence or the importance of effective regulation — you’re kidding yourself. You might as well face it: they’re addicted to Bush. --Paul Krugman, Nobel Prize-winning Economist, Columnist, from his article in The New York Times, "Addicted to Bush"

I understand that George II is writing his memoirs himself. In the midst of that invention his spell-check blew up.
They say TEA (Party) stands for "Taxed Enough Already" when quite obviously it really means "Terrible Educational Achievement". And that's why the party of Michelle Bachman and Sarah Palin stands a chance this fall. This is what you get when Reaganomics meets public education: an uninformed and unlearned electorate voting against their own self-interest. What's the plural of 'Douche'?
magnificently said.
thank you, GOP
mr
Right on.
Sadly, the Bud Light drinkin', god fearing, Sarah Palin worshiping American populace will find out too late that what Krugman says is true and it won't be good for them or us. I fear that the coming elections will produce a bunch of Republican wins that will do nothing but make matters worse for the nation as a whole. Sure the godless heathen Democrats will be gone but I think they'll soon find out that all is not well.
