Even Right Wing Rupert Murdoch and His Wall Street Journal Are Trashing This President
As said in the title, this is great. Even uber Right Wing, ultra conservative Rupert Murdoch's Wall Street Journal is calling this President out for what and who he is now, thank goodness.

Donald Trump sometimes traffics in conspiracy theories—recall his innuendo in 2016 about Ted Cruz’s father and the JFK assassination—but his latest accusation against MSNBC host Joe Scarborough is ugly even for him. Mr. Trump has been tweeting the suggestion that Mr. Scarborough might have had something to do with the death in 2001 of a young woman who worked in his Florida office when Mr. Scarborough was a GOP Congressman...
...There’s no evidence of foul play, or an affair with the woman, and the local coroner ruled that the woman fainted from an undiagnosed heart condition and died of head trauma. Some on the web are positing a conspiracy because the coroner had left a previous job under a cloud, but the parents and husband of the young woman accepted the coroner’s findings and want the case to stay closed...
...Mr. Trump always hits back at critics, and Mr. Scarborough has called the President mentally ill, among other things. But suggesting that the talk-show host is implicated in the woman’s death isn’t political hardball. It’s a smear. Mr. Trump rightly denounces the lies spread about him in the Steele dossier, yet here he is trafficking in the same sort of trash.
Rep. Adam Kinzinger, a Republican from Illinois, had it right when he tweeted on the weekend: “Completely unfounded conspiracy. Just stop. Stop spreading it, stop creating paranoia. It will destroy us.”
We don’t write this with any expectation that Mr. Trump will stop. Perhaps he even thinks this helps him politically, though we can’t imagine how. But Mr. Trump is debasing his office, and he’s hurting the country in doing so.

Two--Big--Reasons Donald Trump Is In Electoral Trouble
Yes sir, ladies and gentlemen, there are two big, big reasons why this very Republican Party President is in trouble--big trouble--in this election year, regarding his possible re-election.
US President Trump no longer pushing the US economy
The one thing, the one thing this President had going for him, if even that, was the economy, of course. And even that was largely handed to him, as all Presidents are, from the previous administration. Now, with this national and international, deadly, killing pandemic and the necessary stay at home orders across much of the nation and world, he certainly doesn't have that.
And the second thing now going against this President? Glad you asked. This came out today.
Oops.
Sure, there's his maybe 30% of the nation or less that are his followers, if that isn't shrinking, but the majority of us, most of the nation see through this empty charlatan and emotional blamer.
These two, Mr. and Mrs. America, are the one-two punches that make this President very to extremely unlikely for re-election this year, this Fall. And his repeated emotional tirades at press conferences, lashing out at reporters and his tweet storms, online, don't help him. Not one bit. In spite of what he apparently thinks or wants.
And thank goodness.
Vote, folks. Come November, the 3rd, vote.
And vote blue.
My one big concern, however, is that, between now and our November election and this President's reckoning day, I hope he can take the pressure and rejection that seems to be--deservedly--coming his way.
God help us all.

This Surreal, Nearly Unbelievable President and Presidency
But with this coronavirus pandemic, he's naturally in the public eye even more, as anyone in that office would and should be but he's outdoing himself for bizarre statements and action.
Proof? Look no further. First, here's this--what he said to Michigan's governor.
Apparently, Michigan's governor wasn't reverential enough to Mr. Trump.
Not done there, we even have this man's own words, showing how partisan he is and how he wants American citizens to grovel to him first, before he assigns any assistance to us out here.
Then there's this bizarreness.
I cannot even begin to imagine how this Donald Trump President thinks.
He has a physician and immunologist in Dr. Anthony Fauci, who has served as the director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases since 1984 to ask questions of but he calls a Major League Baseball player.
During marathon day of meetings earlier this week, President Trump continued outreach across the country regarding coronavirus & phoned former Yankees baseball player Alex Rodriguez. Multiple sources tell ABC, the president spoke to ARod from the Oval Office via me & @KFaulders
A source close to Rodriguez told @ABC the call with Trump was “pleasant” adding that Trump was seeking thoughts from ARod about the coronavirus response. Sources say there was no discussion of AROD or his fiancé Jennifer Lopez taking on any official effort.
Then, amidst all the turmoil, uncertainty and decisions that must be made, Mr. Trump busies himself with this.
I'm just glad he has such great priorities, aren't you?
Meanwhile, finally, for all the rest of this, his madness, here are some things that are absolutely true of this President and his tenure in the White House to date.

The Donald Is Getting In Way Over His Head
The stuff with this Republican Party President Trump is really starting to hit the fan, so to speak, this week.
For all the breaking of the Emoluments Clause and contacting and connecting with Russia and Russians all through the 2016 election campaign, what's been said to, if not even already shown to have taken place with this man and now the Ukraine, likely pushes things off any balance there supposedly was. I am referring, of course, to the following:
And note, please, right off the bat. This is not from the Washington Post or The New York Times or any other supposed "Left Wing rag" or source but none other than Rupert Murdoch's own solidly Right Wing, very Republican-supporting Wall Street Journal. Just some of their points and reporting:
President Trump in a July phone call repeatedly pressured the president of Ukraine to investigate Joe Biden ’s son, according to people familiar with the matter, urging Volodymyr Zelensky about eight times to work with Rudy Giuliani on a probe that could hamper Mr. Trump’s potential 2020 opponent.
“He told him that he should work with [Mr. Giuliani] on Biden, and that people in Washington wanted to know” if his lawyer’s assertions that Mr. Biden acted improperly as vice president were true, one of the people said. Mr. Giuliani has suggested Mr. Biden’s pressure on Ukraine to fight corruption had to do with an investigation of a gas company for which his son was a director. A Ukrainian official this year said he had no evidence of wrongdoing by Mr. Biden or his son Hunter Biden.
Mr. Trump only recently emerged from the nearly two-year investigation by Robert Mueller into whether his campaign sought help in the 2016 election from a different country: Russia. While Mr. Mueller said in his report this spring that he didn’t establish a conspiracy between Moscow and the Trump campaign, Mr. Trump’s efforts to seek Ukraine’s help in damaging a potential political opponent are certain to revive criticism that the president welcomes campaign help from foreign countries.
Mr. Trump on Friday defended his July call with Mr. Zelensky as “totally appropriate” but declined to say whether he had asked the Ukrainian leader to investigate Mr. Biden. At the same time, he reiterated his call for an investigation into Mr. Biden’s effort as vice president to oust Ukraine’s prosecutor general. “Somebody ought to look into that,” he told reporters.
That's not bad enough for this President. He apparently had to also add a monetary quid pro quo to this offer--and with our government's tax money, to boot. Your and my tax dollars, Mr. and Mrs. America.
What isn't to loathe of this man in the White House is to love, love, love--for sick humor.

Backing that last one up, this is from the same month and the very Right Wing Wall Street Journal.
Let's be clear, folks. Let's put this to rest.
There is no crisis at the Southern border of any kind and we certainly don't need to be spending 5 billion dollars on a wall---that would be ineffectual, to boot.
Do we need immigration reform? Absolutely.
Have the Republicans in Congress been fighting it for years?
Yes sir and ma'am, they absolutely have. But no one is telling that story.

Now, bad as that is, what's great is that his own political party realizes and understands how crazy this all is, so they're writing a bill to limit his own very powers so he doesn't pull this kind of nonsense in the future.

This President and His Administration Don't Even Pretend for Whom They're Working
They don't even remotely pretend to be working for the average, working Joe and Jane out here in America. They don't make any attempt of any kind to try to appear they're working for the middle- and/or lower- and working classes. I give you this article from none other than Rupert Murdoch's own very Right-Wing, business-friendly Wall Street Journal.
Airlines want to nix a host of rules that attempt to keep them from mistreating customers. The Transportation Department is considering it.
The DOT has asked airlines to suggest changes or cuts to regulations, part of a broad initiative from President Trump, once an owner of a small airline, to reduce government red tape. It comes as DOT fines against airlines fell by half last year.
The rules matter because DOT is just about the only protection consumers have in U.S. air travel. If the airlines get what they want, the government would weaken the tarmac delay rule, which imposes hefty fines for stranding passengers on planes for long periods, and eliminate a requirement that they show the full price of a ticket when people shop.
Carriers also have asked DOT to scrap the 24-hour grace period for a full refund when buying a ticket—you would pay a change fee even if you realized right away you booked the wrong date or made a mistake in the passenger name. They want to eliminate a rule that requires them to honor tickets sold for “mistake fares,” and they are asking for flexibility from a requirement they provide “prompt” wheelchair service. They argue the term “prompt” is ambiguous and complain that providing wheelchair service at zero charge costs the industry $300 million annually and exceeds benefits.
They also want their own booking systems to be free from the DOT ban on display bias so they don’t have to disclose to consumers they exclude competitors’ flights, and they want to drop requirements to show on-time and cancellation data with flights.

What little protections we have, that we've been able to gain, as customers and passengers on airlines and these people are working to take them away. They're actually asking the airlines what rules they don't like and what they want to have done away with.
This guy and his henchmen and women are working, fighting for the already-wealthy and corporations, folks, not you and I, not, again, the middle class.
They just recently handed out huge, deficit-creating tax credits and deductions to and for the, again, already wealthy and corporations. Then they have Betsy DeVos working for the same wealthy people in our schools, against the working schlubs like you and I. And then there's Scott Pruitt at the EPA, eviscerating our clean air and water and soil rules.

Why anyone but the wealthy votes Republican is beyond me.
Meanwhile, we've seen lots of predictions and projections of just where, exactly, his and the Republicans tax package will take us. They already are.

Huge Changes Coming To Us All
Have you read about these mergers and purchases lately?
Amazon to Buy Whole Foods
for $13.4 Billion
It seems Amazon is going to control a great deal of our otherwise retail purchases and purchasing. Up to now, it's been hard goods. Now they look to be getting extremely serious about the food markets, too.
It had a huge, nearly immediate effect on markets and companies, too.
With this one purchase, suddenly they're huge, nationally, in the food business.
Here's a good share of the reason for it all.
Meanwhile, retail and retail stores and retail buying all over the nation are getting also hammered, along with their stock prices.
What this means is that no one really knows where we're headed Well, except that we're headed online, more and yet more all the time.
And it's all kinds of stores right down to the dollar stores.
Besides reshaping retail and how and why we buy, it also means what our communities and cities look like and how they're built.
Shopping centers look to entertainment,
recreation to fill empty
anchors
Of course there's money--lots of big money--in health care so why wouldn't this happen, right?
The fact is, stores and business and retail and so, our cities and our lives are changing and the changes are coming and will be coming at us fast. Very, very fast.
It's a lot like the current Presidential Administration.
Completely unpredictable.
Hold onto your hats, ladies and gentlemen. It's going to be a bumpy ride.
