KCUR---Wth?
KCUR, buddy, we had a great thing going.
Every Friday, we could count on you for either restaurant reviews and criticism, one week, and movie reviews the next.
It's been great. Week in and week out, you were there.
Sure, we had Walt Bodine for years--decades, actually--and at 90, he finally retired but we still had this every-other-week date and arrangement.
Now, this week, you had what?
Actually, who cares?
You didn't have Charles Ferruzza and his crew for local foodie input.
Additionally, this happens to be a HUGE weekend for movies coming up, what with another big Tom Hanks film coming out and so on.
Yet you covered neither?
What, you don't love us any more?

Central Standard Friday's rotation of food, history, and movies is scheduled far in advance of news of particular films showing on area screens. Charles Ferruzza was on last week, and will be on again on Nov 2nd. CSF's reviews of movies are back on Nov 9th.
That being said, you can count on one of those three topics every Friday from 10 to 11, and you can count on Up to Date's indie, foreign, and documentary film critics every three Fridays. In fact, Up to Date's DVD Gurus are scheduled to be back in on Nov 9 for a look at the new Bond film, and review of their favorites from years past.

Clearly someone at KCUR answered my post Friday.
That said, in this answer, they say "Central Standard Friday's rotation of food, history, and movies is scheduled far in advance of news of particular films showing on area screens."
I've followed the show before and since with Mr. Bodine to now and I don't remember any coverage of history on Fridays. This surprises and even confuses me, frankly.
The other things here, about "Up to Date's" DVD Gurus being on Nov 9 for a look at the new Bond film seems an attempt to cover this topic but a bit of a desperate stretch.
Anyway, at least I got some information and a response, anyway.
