On last evening's Republican candidate debate

I'm baffled by this. We the people, our government, and the media ALL praise the efforts of WAR, almost too many to count, which includes millions of lives lost over the years by our own hands. Yet, the death penalty we object to. It doesn't add up. How do we fault one over the other.
I prefer the day we don't do either.
I couldn't agree more, on both points.
