What's the difference between an off duty cop, and a civilian with a carry license? Keep in mind that civilians are statistically a LOT less likely to shoot the wrong person.
I was just happy that this apparently very angry man, with his guns, didn't kill anyone before being dispensed with, that's all.

I'm also happy that he was stopped as soon as possible. My point is that the value of 'soon' can be improved with more guns in the right hands.
