Never Forget Who Voted Against COVID Relief, Missouri

Yes, Missourians, let's never, never forget just who, exactly voted against the COVID Relief Plan.
During the worst, most killing, deadly international pandemic in the last more than 100 years, when Americans supported this relief package, they didn't and voted against. Remember in 2022. And 2024. And forever.

Rep. Vickie Hartzler tries to shame the President, backfires

vicky-hartzler-fp.jpg

Poor Vickie Hartzler.

The poor thing did get elected to a Missouri government office.  She just isn't that bright. This from the Columbia Tribune yesterday:

Hartzler moves flag for press conference to avoid image with Obama

So instead of somehow shaming the President--her President and ours--she ends up doing that very thing to herself.  Worse, she ends up shaming the very people who elected her. In fact, she ends up shaming the state, all Missourians.

And naturally, it went out nationally.  Here it is from ABC News:

Here's another:

So, yeah, poor Vickie Hartzler.

Worse, poor Cass County.

And poor Missouri.

Whatever you do, just don't think she is--or her followers are--racist.

Heaven forbid.

You know how Rep. Vicky Hartzler voted to kill the food stamp program?

Yes, she did:

These Republicans Who Voted To Cut Food Stamps Personally Received Large Farm Subsidies

So she voted to cut 40 billion dollars out of food stamps that are, as we know, for the poor--oh, and the military, they get food stamps too:

But get this.  If you read that article, above, you realize good ol' government-hatin' Rep. Hartzler be lovin' herself some gubmint largesse:

Another Republican congresswoman who voted to make cuts to the food stamp program was Rep. Vicky Hartzler of Missouri. Her farm received more than $800,000 in Department of Agriculture subsidies from 1995-20102. In 2001, her farm received $135,482 in subsidies.

Check that out.

Ol' Vicky be hatin' on gubmint but not so much she can't take more than three-quarters of a million dollars from 'em.

I mean, from you and me.

Go get 'em, Vicky.

Rep. Vicky Hartzler has constituent arrested in her office waiting room

Watch live video from OccupyKC on www.justin.tv According to "Fired Up Missouri": "In Representative Vicky Hartzler's office this afternoon, a number of contituents visited her office in an effort to meet with her and were forcibly removed. One of her constituents opted to wait for Hartzler in her waiting room and was subsequently arrested." Nice, Congressperson Hartzler, really nice. Hartzler in? Cleaver out?

If what the CBS Channel KCTV 5 reports right now is true, Vicky Hartzler is in, defeating 17 term, 80 year old Ike Skelton (not a huge surprise but a surprise nonetheless) and Emanuel Cleaver is voted out, by however a slim margin it shows?

Holy cow.

This is some surprising election, at least on these points, among a few others.

Ike Skelton vs. Vicky Hartzler: a rock and a hard place

On the one hand, there's Democratic Representative Ike Skelton who is 80 years old, for pete's sake, and who has been in Congress for 17--count 'em--17 terms.  That's 34 years in Washington.

On the other hand, there's Republican Vicky Hartzler who, according to the Star this morning "...wrote the book on faith-centered campaigning."

Excuse me, I think I'm going to be sick.
