Quote of the day--on equality in America
"This country stands for the proposition that all men and women are created equal, that they have certain inalienable rights. And what that means is that if you could build a church on a site, you could build a synagogue on a site, if you could build a Hindu temple on a site, then you should be able to build a mosque on the site." --President Obama;
You know what else that means? That should mean that, since we've always thought that in the United States "all mean and women are created equal", that two consenting adults, if they want to commit to one another, should also be equal and given full rights as afforded to any and every other American in this country. Here's hoping that's exactly what that means one day soon. One day very soon.
