Missourians! Know This About Your Republican Party Legislature in Jefferson City

I don't think enough Missourians know how many times our Republican Party legislature in Jefferson City has overruled our, the people's will and vote. Herewith are three very recent examples.
So glad our Republican Party legislature in Jefferson City overturned the people's vote to-- 1) Not approve concealed carry 2) Not approve of Right to Work laws and now, the most recent 2) accept Medicaid funding from the Federal Government so the poorest of the state has health care. On each of these issues, the people spoke and the Republican Party legislators in our state capitol overturned it, them, and did the exact opposite. Aren't you glad we have representative government, folks? I know I am.

With warm and fuzzy thanks to the Supreme Court of the United States

The "Citizens United" ruling by the Supreme Court, earlier this year, hurts all Americans, truth be told.  Some (young?) Republicans and those on the Right think it only hurts the Left and Liberals but the fact is, the millions and, likely, billions of dollars that will be spent by corporations on elections will hurt the entire country and put us even more in the hands of the corporations.  It's "us" little guys--the working class and all of us not making $100,000.00 per year against "them", the people and corporations with the money.  If we don't stand together and somehow legislate down the "Citizens United" ruling, we should all fear for Democracy.  And I don't say this to be melodramatic.

The real problem here is unlimited corporate money buying our elections

Forget the small issue here. The real issue, the big issue, the big concern for the country and for our politics and government and functioning society is that, with the Supreme Court's ruling this year, corporations can, right now, give unlimited money to any campaign they want, skewing the democratic political process in this country. Your vote just got a whole lot smaller, folks.
