Dear Mr. Kevin: For the US to attack Syria is a very bad idea. Yes, it is a crime against humanity for the Assad government to have used chemical weapons against its own people. But a US strike on Syria will do absolutely nothing to stop the killing of civilians in that country. What it will do, possibly, is set in motion a process of escalation that could end up as a regional or even a global war. If the US wants to send a message go to Facebook. Take care.
