A friend, a very learned, wise friend of mine wrote this today on Facebook.

"Trump's fans are symbolists. 

Substance doesn't matter as long as they like the noises."

Not only is it true, so very true, but it's stunning. We've never been here before, as a nation and with a "leader" like this.
