Ixnay on the Andalscay

If you read here at all--either of you--you'd know I support our current president. Deal. It seems, right now, that if even one more big government scandal in the coming months, the Republicans can likely exploit the daylights out of it and say President Obama has a government out of control.

First there was the GSA debacle recently, with nearly a million dollars going for a "conference" in Las Vegas. Now, there's the big Secret Service mess of agents connecting with prostitutes and some being extremely drunk, too, in Cartagena, Colombia, prior to his arriving for a meeting with other national leaders.

All I can say is, there better not be one more big scandal the rest of this year. Everyone better be minding their p's and q's. It's not good for the nation, of course, and it's not acceptable, period, but it's really tough during an election year, for an office-holder running for re-election.

Kansan disarmed Monday prior to President's visit

A Kansan was going to institute a citizen's arrest on President Obama earlier this week, when he came to Osawatamie.

The story: Secret Service takes guns, handcuffs from Kansas birther threatening Obama A Kansas birther, who publicly announced that he was planning a citizen’s arrest of President Barack Obama, was told Monday by the Secret Service that he would be arrested if he came near the president. Neil Jednoralski claimed that he contacted Kansas Secretary of State Kris Kobach, the Kansas Highway Patrol, and the Saline County Sheriff’s Office to ask for their help in arresting the president for illegally holding office as a foreign citizen, according to KSAL. For clarification, I don't know why they say he's a "birther" so don't attack me. With this, no one can say it's not racist

Did you see where death threats on this President's life are up 400% compared to the former president--George W. Bush?

That makes up to 30 per day for the Secret Service to keep up with.

If you do the math, for one year, that comes to nearly 11,000 threats.

How do you keep up with that kind of insanity?

And how, exactly, can anyone, let alone leaders of political groups or news organizatitions--Fox "News"--claim that at least some of the obvious irrationality President Obama is being exposed to, isn't partly based on racism?

How can it be claimed that South Carolina's Joe Wilson did his disrepctful, unmannered, classless "shout out" at the President during his speech to a joint session of Congress wasn't at least partly "okay" to this chucklehead, because that same President is African-American?

I don't think it can be claimed otherwise.

And when you put this hostility with the fact that death threats on this President have shot up as high as they have, it's clear the problem--and the source--is, at least in part, racism.

Now, then, can we just accept this as fact, try to fix it and move on?

That would make sense and we could possibly get on to our solutions.
