Wow, that was really great. I like that the drummer was a little girl, too.
One of the main criticisms of Melanie was that she sang with emotion. That was not done, then. So because of this lack of emotional depth, in the singing, not the writing, many of the great songs from the '60's & 70's can be redone with honest emotion, as if the singer actually hears their own words.
