Tax subsidies for oil companies?

The largest and most profitable companies--oil companies--get tax subsidies?  Exxon-Mobil is the number 2 "Fortune 500 Biggest Company" this year.  Chevron is 3 and Conoco Phillips is 4.

Does this make sense to ANYONE?
