Gadhafi, in letter, asks Obama to end air strikes

WASHINGTON – Libyan leader Moammar Gadhafi appealed directly to President Barack Obama on Wednesday to end what Gadhafi called "an unjust war."
"I'm begging you!"  (my words, not his)
Then, next sentence in the article, no kidding:  He also wished Obama good luck in his bid for re-election next year.
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
Man, that's good.
Gadhafi is lucky it's not 2003.  Dubya' would already have the soldiers busting down his doors, third war or no.

Funny stuff. and then John Boehner would come along later and say the gumment must be shut down to pay for Bush's wars. After all these years, NOW they're mad!

Sheeeeit!

Thanks. that's obviously what I was going for--the funny. When I saw it, that's all I could do was laugh. Can you imagine the leader of a country sending a LETTER to another leader ASKING the first one to PLEASE STOP BOMBING ME?

I mean, I can't figure if that's out of an early Stanley Kubrick film or Woody Allen. What a hoot.
