America? Number one?

This is an issue that needs to be at the forefront of US political discussions. Income inequality at the levels one can see in the US today historically leads to the demise of nations. Income inequality also harms society in a very real way. Here is a link to a fantastic video on the topic that I like to share now and then. The numbers don't lie, and the truth they are telling is that, despite all of it's wealth, life in the US really isn't that great compared to most other developed nations, and income inequality is a big part of the reason. -MK http://www.ted.com/talks/richard_wilkinson.html
