Salute to Patsy Cline

"‎49 years ago today, the great Patsy Cline was killed in a plane crash in Tennessee. Her last performance was in Memorial Hall in Kansas City, Kansas on March 3, 1963. It was a benefit for the family of a local KC DJ who had died in a car accident. Some of the others on the bill were George Jones, Wilma Lee and Stoney Cooper and two others who dies in the crash with Patsy Cline, Cowboy Copas and Hankshaw Hawkins. The light plane flew into horrible weather, with a pilot who had no instrument training--a sure recipe for disaster." --Bob McWilliams, "Radio Bob", from FM radio station KPR in Lawrence, Kansas. Also host of weekly radio show "Trail Mix", one of that stations most appreciated and valued programs. And because one can just not get enough Patsy Cline, here's another one, rather appropriately. (Thanks, Bob!)
