KC Chiefs trivia... Only one other time in Chiefs' history have they changed coaches before the end of the season. In 1977, Tom Bettis took over as interim coach, after Paul Wiggin was fired. His first game as interim was a win. At Arrowhead. Against the Green Bay Packers.
Another note: for this 5 minutes, at this moment in time, they achieved what no other team in the NFL did all season. Tonight, they're champions, if but for a day. We can enjoy, for sure.
