George Orwell had it more right than we knew
"The leader needed a permanent war." --"1984"
And he certainly found it. In fact, he "found it" with a few wars--terrorism, Iraq, Afghanistan and the Middle East, for the oil we want and need.
Nice, huh? Crazy thing is, we all went along for the ride, too.
