Arthur Bryant's at the top: as it should be
Arthur Bryant's got a top national rating from Zagat's this week, as I said, as it should be. They are rated as one of the "10 US Barbecue Meccas". It's the one barbecue joint in town that doesn't taste like all the rest. And then there's the smoked meats. Yow. Good on you, Arthur. Glad to see you could spell Bryant's.
ReplyDeleteWe prefer the taste of Gates. Bryants tosses your sandwich all in a sack and you end up with a mess. If it weren't for that, I might like them more.
ReplyDeleteI always eat there or I'd agree with you and that would be a problem. I took a sandwich home once, years ago, with fries and swore I'd not do that again. It sucks all the flavor out of the food.
ReplyDeleteAnd to anonymous:
ReplyDeleteIt's always nice--but obvious, too--when the bitter employees of the Star read local blogs.
No one takes anyone who prefers Gates seriously.
ReplyDeleteI couldn't agree more, Anonymous.
