I agree. Americans are far too complacent to actually do anything about the government they hate or say they do, anyway. And then there's the whole thing about a) knowing what the problems actually are and b) knowing what might actually be a good solution.
We have too much history of having or getting what we want and everyone thinks everything is still the way it used to be, too.
As a means of purely keeping people from saying mean, ugly, vile or profane or slanderous things, I moderate comments. I'll get your comment up soon as possible (as long as it's not any of the above).
Heh- the ONLY way Americans MIGHT ever take to the streets over anything is when the electricity goes out.
